My allthingsonelove.com 4-star Review: Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Maaaaaaaan…. you can forget how good Pappadeaux Seafood is. You go, spend a few dollars, enjoy yourself and return when for special occasions. Well, I’m here to tell you it’s possible to go, spend a couple of quarters and enjoy yourself. HAPPY HOUR people! Oh yes and awwww yeeaaah! That bread and butter is still soft, warm and moist but you can upgrade to seafood butter for free and yikes, it is even better. Now, the happy hour menu is limited so we stuck with catfish beignets, calamari and margaritas. The catfish beignets were fried lightly, set on a bed white something and came with 4 or 5 on each order. I ate it all including that bed of white something (I only ate it because I knew other Yelpers were wondering). The calamari was great too, fried medium and lightly seasoned. I pride myself on always getting two margaritas. If I get one, gotta get two with very few exceptions. Pappadeaux Seafood’s Large Margarita has made that list of exceptions. The trick to a large margarita is just enough ice to remain frozen as you eat while melting slow enough to avoid brain freeze when you drink it. This exemplified great work!
