Gratitude Journal Day #23 (CONSECUTIVE 😉): Friday Eve, 10/22/2020

Gratitude Journal meets my daughter's 8th Birthday.

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

BOOM. BAM. BANG. That’s the sound of my baby girl’s 8th RANG. (She’s waaaaaaaaay over ringing now. 🤣😂🤣) Already labeled as gifted, reading on a 5th grade level and certified teacher’s pet, THIS day is about HER. *whispers* Her and these Gratitudes.

3.) Wife called in. 👸🏾 I NEEDED it. Juggling the work-from-home gig, while referee’ing remote school and ducking Multiple Sclerosis ain’t no punk. Thank GAWD she here to handle the festivities, activities and flat-out BULL 💩… Before 8am, he had “school issues”! What the heck? It’s not even breakfast and he starting off with a deficit! I wasn’t gonna even TRY speaking to him about the stuff. NOPE. Queen here. Queen got it. I’m focusing on my J-O-B and I’ll circle back for him later. *shrugs* PLUS, it’s a birthday today and if I wreck HIS day enforcing a lesson, it’ll ruin HER birthday and QUEEN will be teaching my ASS a lesson. *bows* That’s why I’m grateful for her, she handle dem kids and ME.

2.) Napio Foot Massager! 👣👣 Something else I NEEDED. One of the “solutions” to my foot neurosis is using a heated/cooling foot massager. This gig has my neurosis TURNT UP because my feet are on/in/over/under these foot pedals. Good thang I have this contraption close AF! 15min of the device granted 5min of relief. 😊 Think I’m complaining? 👎🏾 Nooooope. SOME-thing is sooo much better than nothing. (See, I’m back on that perspective again. Be GRATEFUL for the fixes, relief, help, whatever. Look for more but DAMN. 😑 Quit complaining and hustle your improvements, GET better.) Now; returning to the subject… I’ll turn my massager back on and figure out adding a few yoga stretches to my feet too. I might bring in stool, sit on the floor but I can do more to help myself. I will do more. I’m grateful for the relief NOW and scheming MORE. 😷

1.) Wiz is 8! 💃🏽🏃🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️ Wisdom is my DAWG! I done told y’all several times, NOBODY got my back like her. She doesn’t remember the hype, sexy but cool Daddy that yelled, mean mugged and swagged his way into the hearts of… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maaaaaaan, I’m clowning. Happy BORN DAY to my youngest daughter and most loyal POTNA. Thank you for ALWAYS helping me, ALWAYS smiling about helping me, ALWAYS rushing & fighting to be the one helping me, ALWAYS complimenting my 3 PJs, ALWAYS filling up my bucket. 🖤🤜🏾🤛🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
