Gratitude Journal Day #34: Monday, 11/2/2020

3 stories of Gratitude from Nov. 2nd, 2020

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

I’m looking dead at Multiple Sclerosis and every, single, ragged, trifling illness pulling on my coattails and leeching my swag.

Heroes live forever but legends NEVER die. Middle fingers to all my symptoms because da disabled homie GON be fly. Growth, goals and always building. Purpose & Passion, my Queen and these children.

3.) *DEEP breathe* Hi. I’m Kendrick and I’m quitting beer, liquor and sugar in pursuit of wellness. *crowd stares in silence* I’m grateful… 🥁 that I can conceive living sugar-free, drank-free and MS-free. All this is originated with reading Healing Multiple Sclerosis by Anne Boroch. Her assertions of candida, childhood trauma and the connection with chronic illness is at the front of my frigging consciousness. Her proven method of healing through diet and lifestyle rings through decisions. That book has given me the greatest gift, blessing, opportunity possible. I’m grateful it spurred the metamorphosis of belief; I can heal and improve my wellness.

2.) Matching socks! 😎😎 *questioning look* What? Oh, it’s just me that feels like matching socks take your looks UP a notch? *sucks teeth* I do. I ain’t studden y’all. I’m rocking matching PJs, pullover matches, socks match and it elevates my mood. THANKS socks!

1.) Oxygen. Not the stuff we breathe, the CHANNEL. 🤐🤐🤐 I didn’t watch football because I was trapped by Oxygen’s various real life, murder stories. Snapped? Everybody know about that. I like Ice T’s In Cold Blood, Killer Couples, Buried In The Backyard, Dateline: Secrets Uncovered, oooooo, Killer Kids, list goes on. I posted and blogged while watching shows with the Mrs. I quitting the alcohol/sugar so I’m grateful my last 5 beers were Karbach, last 4 candybars were king-size Mr. Goodbars and Whatchamacallits, last 12 cookies 😋😉 were my daughter’s creations and last glasses of wine were over great episodes.
