Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Dawg, 🤜🏾🤛🏾🖤👑 *blows nose* I’m tired of code-switching. I’m one of THOSE people of color. I’m disabled and I’m NOT spending another frigging moment trying to “fit in” or “be a productive citizen”. No way. It’s Election Tuesday and I’m dropping the mic with #QualityOverQuantity *gulp* See y’all tomorrow because I’m not going anywhere till after the votes are in! 😜
3.) Day 1 of no alcohol & sugar – *brushes off shoulders* Easy peeeeezy. Queen was ordering special groceries to meal prep for me. Kids don’t like my snacks. Found out GREEN apples were ok to eat. *pats heart* Did I notice a change or anything? Nope, not yet but it’s just day one. I’m grateful it wasn’t bad but it can’t be when someone else volunteers to cook, kids HAVE to clean and the A/C blow coooooold all night. 🎺
2.) Gratitude entry posted by 7am! – Yoo. THAT made my Monday sooooo easy and smooth. I’ve been remixing and trying different schedules to maximize my efficiency. I KNOW my problem is “I’m trying to do too much.” buuuuuuut… I don’t know. I refuse to believe I can’t find the right schedule to do this, work-from-home, tutor-from-home, teach-from-home, yoga-on-beach life I’ve set as a goal. Monday, I knocked out distractions, focused and just did meditation and my Gratitude Journal post. It was the right combo of accomplishments as I was rewarded with a sense of “Yeah-I-got-everything-done”. *duck face* Bump that homie. I rarely ever get THAT feeling so when I do, 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
1.) Gift cards – Boom. Neighbors have been TREMENDOUS people. They’ve helped us with soooo much stuff and we couldn’t wait to start returning the love. Money is too… 🤔🤔… informal? *shrugs* Instead, we scooped their cool behinds some gift cards to their FAVORITE restaurant. 😋😋 WE LISTEN! 🤣🤣🤣 The best thing of ALL was their genuine and authentic appreciation. I’m riding that energy all Tuesday. *gulp*
