Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
Yoo. I’m getting aggressive today. It’s hard to accept huh? Took me FOREVER to get it, OVERstand. It applies to everything homie. If YOU aren’t trying to change it (whatever IT is), YOU 😑 ARE accepting it. *lights funny looking, green joint*
That job you HATE? Are you updating resumes? Applying? Adding skills? *duck face* Shhhhhiiiiii, 😋 YOU accepting it, complaining about it, letting it corrupt opportunities and missing ALL kinds of connections because YOUR energy wack.
That partner that gets on your nerves? Doesn’t “treat you right”? You’d be SHOCKED to look inside, journal, meditate, reflect and see it’s on YOU and YOUR insecurities.
Dem kids do TOO much? Too much this, that, everything but not enough ANYTHING? Writing a Gratitude Journal opens your eyes to everything dem kids do DO.
I can chop all day on this because I get it. Circumstances, situations, players are different but the message is the same. If YOU aren’t trying to change it, YOU my Queen/King, Sister/Brother, whoever are accepting it.
3.) Podcast meeting went SUPER well. ♿ Better than good, it was damn healing. In ONE meeting, we got further along than I hoped to expect. Topics are wide ranging yet each gets deeeeeeep because we’re bringing a shared perspective of being #sickAF, married with kids and wanting to give back, do better, spread knowledge. *virtual dap* Grateful to be with a King.
2.) Queen took kids to the park. 🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♀️ I was happy than a MUG for them ALL. Getting outside OUTSIDE, real deal playing, sweating, holler’ing and stuff was sooooo needed around here. We got the trampoline and back yard but my boy needed a goal, somewhere to dribble. My daughters finally got run, chase, scream and all the girly stuff. GURL, my eldest went outside to play. I knew it was serious when SHE went! 🤣😂🤣
1.) BMs are getting more consistent! 🚽😉😍 Credit to this new lifestyle (I don’t say “diet” because this is permanent) of no sugar, no gluten and no alcohol. Props to the new vitamins and supplements. Toast to the new yoga poses that aim to induce BMs. Kisses to the Queen for prepping meals that mean to reduce bloating and clean the system. Look MAN, I wouldn’t bring it up if it wasn’t serious! MS, UC, IBS, gastroparesis are all in my repertoire of complications & symptoms. I ain’t shamed to admit it or discuss it. 🤣😂 The changes are beginning to work and I’m starting to feel IT after a solid month. *thumps chest twice* Huuuuuuge difference in my day, level of energy and less time in the doggone RR!
