Gratitude Journal Day 75: Monday, 12/14/2020

3 personal stories of Gratitude from a King THRIVING despite Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…

This journey I’ve undertaken, wellness, is one lesson after another. I’m getting better at recognizing WHEN the lesson is occurring and thus, NOT repeating my mistakes. #Yoga has me physically stronger, more flexible and greater endurance. I’m smarter because I pay attention, takes notes and review my notes regularly by bouncing ideas off my Queen and jamming her #advice. I’m CRAZY happier with a science of starting my day reading PAST Gratitudes so the current Gratitudes don’t overlap in my #gratitude Journal. (I don’t know if readers are tracking BUT I am! 🤜🏾🤛🏾👑)

3.) Only working 8hr shifts! 🙌🏾 #Whew #Whoosah #Finally After 3 straight weeks of OT, we go back to M-F, 8a-5:30pm. 🙌🏾🙏🏾💆🏽‍♂️ Yup, I SHO appreciate the opportunities, stacked a couple dollars and ready to chill again.

2.) Trying out that Lion’s Mane Mushroom and Niacin mix today. My wife is worried about the “flushing” of it. SUPPOSED over heat me and give me the itchies all over. Well, I’m used to those symptoms being related to PPMS AND training with this new gig is worst ever. Heating spells, itchies, discomfort will make it harder to fall asleep in this wheelchair. See? *wink* #Perspective

1.) Took my Queen out to eat! 🤜🏾🤛🏾👑 *duck face* Go inside? Me?! Naw PLAYA, I stayed my #sickAF ass in the car while the Mrs. retrieved the food. 🤤 Bruh, it’s a whole pandemic outside and half the folks packed in the shopping area ain’t wearing a mask at all. I’m an OUTLAW of MS so I do some weird, ancient healing and take a few chances with my preferred, medicinal application. I will NOT chance covid-19 for food, people or a good time. WE came home, ate in DA BED and napped. 👸🏽💪🏾
