Gratitude Journal Day #96: Monday, 1/4/2021

I'm feeling better, on the mend, enjoyed my day and ready for round 1 of 2021. Who else keeping a #gratitude Journal?!

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…

I think I’m getting better at bouncing back. Seriously. No, like for real. I think I’m beginning to OVER-stand the art of healing, the practices, the mechanisms, how to improve and all that. At least, on a personal level. It is my 1st full day after the drama of yesterday. (Stares at you. You don’t know what happened yesterday? Tremors? Left the gig early under the “sick” rules?) Well, I sure as heck don’t wanna spend any UN-necessary time on reliving that mess. I’m feeling better today.

3.) Found a wireless mouse and keyboard. 👍🏾 Yo bro. I spend a crazy amount of time at the desktop computer for work, blog, vlog, YouTube, Zoom, tutorials and even more. I’m always losing a few precious seconds or minutes trying to navigate my wheelchaired ass out of the doggone cords and wires! Headset has a cord. Mouse has a cord, keyboard, speakers, phone… When I stumbled upon that wireless set, I was cruuuuunk. Two less cords would save me major time when I’m boxed in those 30min lunches and 15min breaks.

2.) Kids start school TOMORROW 😉😜 Duuuuuuuuuuude. It is about damn me time. I love dem kids but 2 weeks of STAYcation for them has resulted in a messier house and the sheer amount of noise AFTER midnight has me bout to call the laws for help! Sunday night was back to bedtimes, chores and some kind of organized routine. *claps loudly*

1.) Mind Guide essential oil 💨💨💨 This is my new tool for mindset when I’m at the J-O-B. There is something special about rocking this oil, pinging off that Lion’s Mane Mushroom and doing anything that requires focus. I’m talking about work, yoga, blogging, thinking are all better. I seem to hold my attention longer when I’m juiced on the Mushroom and Mind Guide essential oil. With work being a repeat of what caused my downfall on Saturday, I need all the help I can get!
