Gratitude Journal Day #125: Wednesday, 2/3/21

You don't fit in huh? GOOD. Use that to YOUR advantage by looking for weaknesses, checking for strengths, planning and plotting. If you can't MAKE the money, you damn sure better have plans for how to INVEST it when you get some, building something. Let's go people. It's YOUR freaking life.

What I’m GRATEFUL for…

3.) We have an intro for the podcast! Yoo. Our intro goes HARD! I mean, it is banging, thumping, jamming and any other word for good music. My brother, A. Askew, created it years ago. It is my FAVORITE song and he gave his permission to use it for the podcast. Yup, it curses. Nope, I highly doubt we keep it. (I WOULD but y’all know me by now.)

2.) Ice enjoyed her birthday. *whew* The pressure is like a full court defense! Being a parent, you want your kids to enjoy their special day. Pandemics make it worse by reducing available options. Disabilities make it worse by reducing the income. She wasn’t tripping a bit tho! 🖤🖤🖤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

1.) Truth feeling normal again. ✅ *sweating* My son swore he wasn’t “right”. He complained of congestion, headaches and even said, “I can’t taste anything”. 🤒 In 2021, THAT kind of complaining will get yo ass QUARANTINED. Turns out, allergies like I guessed. He hit that Breathe Right and now, juuuuuust fine.

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…
