Gratitude Journal Day #158: Tuesday, 3/9/21

Heeeeeeeeeeeeck yeah, I got my goals done. 1 down, 4 to go. AND I'm working my Gratitude Journal, holding my head up, following the path of wellness because... If you can't GET better, BE better.

What I’m GRATEFUL for today.

3.) I hit all my goals for Day 1 – Work Monday? βœ… Read Skin Game? βœ… NO alcohol or beer? βœ… I still got 4 days to go but I’m off to a good start. I haven’t felt any significant change in energy or body improvement but according to MY research, it takes a week to feel that kind of stuff. I’m not trying to QUIT cold turkey. I’m working on being better than I’ve been. #Gratitude

2.) Avoided sugar & gluten – Yes, it is ALMOST as hard as the alcohol. Liquor, sugar, and gluten are my “quick fixes”. The problem is that the two are NOT good for me but commit treasonous acts of domestic violence when paired with Multiple Sclerosis. I’M paying the cost physically, mentally, and eventually, spiritually. The longest I’ve gone is 17 days. Then, 13 days but nothing longer than 3 days. Today, I’m grateful I made it to day 2. 🀞🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾

1.) Queen got her 1st vaccine – We (*duck face* SHE) drove about 40min to get it. Yup, we (SHE) ain’t playing. Why didn’t I? There was nowhere within hours I could. Y’all know those shots require all kinds of stuff and the entire world is looking for them so pre-planning is essential to getting one. Am I going to get one? *sigh* Yup because you can’t travel outside the country without a vaccination. I gotta travel as much as humanly possible and it’s the foundation of the life WE are grinding to create. *bows* Gratitude for that.
