Gratitude Journal Day #165: Tuesday, 3/16/21

Today is about the little steps towards healing and wellness. That means water, water and guess what else? Yup, water.
Disclaimer: It is MARCH 16th, not February 16th. 🙄🤦🏾‍♂️🤣🤣

You survived Monday. *fist bump* Now, today is about WATER. You need 1/2 of your body weight in oz of water. Example, a 200lb person needs 100oz (12 cups). That’s it. *takes a swig* Ahh. Water, Gratitudes and more water! 🤜🏾🤛🏾🖤

3.) Found the perfect spot for my Ring Light – The ring light is that fancy, smancy, circle light that holds a camera in the middle. People use it for makeup, close-ups, hair, glamor poses and especially those self-videos. Problem is that it puts those weird reflections on the eyes of anybody wearing glasses, like ME. I was using it like a lamp for my work area but it kept falling and was too bright. On accident, I found the perfect “perch” by stacking books behind my monitor, standing it there. Now, my videos are well lit WITHOUT those stinking reflections and light actually reaches my lap, where I hold my keyboard. It’s so nice, lighting so right, I want to blog and write even more than I do. Grateful for that accident.

2.) The OLD school trick worked! – I ran out of my Breathe Right drops. 🥺 After a few days, it hit me, add a lil’ water to the bottle and shake it. #Boom. It wasn’t like a fresh bottle, clearing my sinuses, improving my breathing. It was better than NO Breathe Right. Lighting right, environment good and I’m looking forward to today.

1.) Da homie cut my son’s hair – *dap* I needed that more my son needed that! 🤣🤣 The Queen always sees his need for a chop first because the kid, *ahem* young man, is growing dreads. I can’t do barbershops for several reasons, can’t drive being number one. Nobody wants to sit in the shop with him or do the drop-off, pick up, thing. I’m appreciative every time he comes through and knocks his hair back into good standing.
