Gratitude Journal Day #225: Sunday, 5/16/21

I'm at the Primary Progressive stage so my average out of pocket expenses are $150k per year. Yup, I have insurance. I pay that $150k which is only 6% of my TOTAL yearly medical expenses. *duck face* Maaaaaaan, where my Wellness at? πŸ€œπŸΎπŸ€›πŸΎβ™ΏπŸ‘‘πŸ€΄πŸΎ

Crunk Talk for today are those expensive ass OUT-of-pocket expenses. πŸ€œπŸΎπŸ€›πŸΎπŸ–€

Last day of my 2 week injury so I’m going back to work. Bet I come back with funny stories and authentic Gratitudes. πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‘‘

3.) Grateful to get out the house – Slid over to my FIRST neice’s Born Day Party and straight posted. The set-up was beautiful, streamers from the ceiling, ballons all on the floor, grilled slider burgers, VEGGIES for sides, fruit for snacks, Wi-Fi was fast and easy. Y’all know I’m building a remote, consulting business? πŸ˜‰ I sang the songs, cracked the jokes, grubbed but spent the whole party grinding, hustling, writing, jamming the Clubhouse. That’s what the Gratitude is all about. I saw BIG urban developments comings, sat OUTSIDE, enjoyed myself and felt comfortable as heck doing ME. *points to self*

2.) Early AM with Leslie Brown – Leslie Brown is a legendary Motivational Speaker. *bows* By pure chance, maybe it was πŸ“œ written, I caught an early session with him. I wasn’t able to speak but I learned some stuff about him that made me raise my level of respect. He blasted Black History, chopped on racism and dropped this dime, “A WHITE high school dropout with a felony conviction earns 3x what a BLACK or BROWN college graduate earns over a lifetime.” 😲 I know! I’m not shocked at all and kinda, sorta, already knew but still πŸ‘ŽπŸΎ not cool beans. I’m grateful to personally witness, via Clubhouse, him giving 2 people opportunities that may change their entire destiny. I SEE where I’m going with this and being THERE, helps me HERE.

1.) Whole week without alcohol – *like dem dudes from 300* AWOO! AWOO! AWOO! A whole 7 days. Not a drop NOR store-made juice. *shhh* Don’t jinx me!
