Gratitude Journal Day #296: Tuesday, 7/27/21

*singing* I got heaven right HERE on Earth. Lala. 👑🤴🏾 And Day 48 signals the end of our Ecuador 🇪🇨 travels. Time to return. *sniff* I'm emotional as heck BUT this Gratitude Journal will focus my thoughts on what's GOOD about getting back and keep my ass from falling apart in fear, shaking with anxiety and OVER-thinking what I'm going back to. 💪🏾🧐 #kendrickavant #agentofgratitude #ifyoucantgetbetterbebetter #wellness #mindset #Gratitude #keepgoing #improve #grow #grateful #GratefulAF #BEbetter #GratitudeChangesPerspective #gratitudejournal #allthingsonelove #allaboutyou #energy #passion #purpose #perspective

Well, time is officially up. 🥺😥😢😭

5.) Heading home – Look, I don’t wanna do it. 😭😭 I’m grateful tho because I MUST share this place. I gotta tell what is here, good, great and the different things going down. Heading home will make the kids happy because its their 1st time OUTSIDE the states. Home means seeing my original friends, making plans to see my folks and of course finalizing how we come back. I’m motivated to do MORE thanks to Ecuador 🇪🇨.

4.) People responded! – I’m following the advice of Nicky, Social Media Manager. Her advice? Check in with followers, friends, etc. ASK what THEY think your brand is because it is imperative it matches to your intention. It took FOREVER but people have started. So far, so good. My stuff is aligned which is GREAT  for business and branding and growth.

3.) Teaching ESL idea – Yooo! This could work. I’m teaching ESL to students in Shanghai, China. That opportunity gives me materials, plans, lessons and experience teaching ESL again. (I did two years as a middle school teacher too but that was 3 kids ago.)

2.) Found ALL the gifts I wanted – I got gifts for my folks. I got gifts for my brothers. It’s not much but they say the thought is what counts. I’m grateful (it’s my first time doing this). Usually, my Queen does this but Ecuador 🇪🇨 is too awesome for me not to get involved.

1.) Reconnecting with an old homie – I miss talking and chopping with the King. We share sooo much in LIFE besides Multiple Sclerosis. He reached out and we’ve been going back and forth for a few days. Grateful because nobody speaks my language like he does. That gives me an outlet and I hope I’m the same for him.
