3.) Got that GOOD Colin K ice cream – Ben & Jerry’s is notorious for SUPPORTING minority and marginalized communities. The fact they HAVE a Colin K. ice cream is cool beans. I’m grateful just to have it in this house! DAWG. I’m starting to think there’s a sinister reason we can’t find it anywhere locally. 🧐 After last night’s intentional, FAST attempt at eating it all and coming up a half pint SHORT, it is now #1 on my ice cream list. It took 2 pints but I have a new favorite ice cream flavor, company and spokesperson. Take a bow Ben & Jerry’s, this Gratitude is for YOU. 👏🏾🖤
2.) Did some GOOD stuff at work – I helped some folks pass the new tests. I led my breakout group and our results were an A. I even did the talking! I’m building relationships with a couple colleagues. (Okay, two of those are old but still. 😎) I volunteered to act as a customer/caller and my skills were greeted with claps and laughter. Yesterday was a GOOD day and I appreciated it. That energy helped keep me settled so I could manage OTHER stuff.
1.) I THINK the ESL teaching orientation works for me – I don’t know yet. I THOUGHT we paid for orientation but I don’t see how. We have a list of tasks to be completed by a certain date. At that date, we are given final walkthroughs on systems. 🤷🏾♂️ I don’t know BUT I am grateful that I can do PAID orientation for the sales gig. I gotta bring SOME-thing in and paid orientation is a full 40hr week. 🤜🏾🤛🏾🤣🤣🤣
