What caught my attention.
Anything involving fathers will make me look. I’m into mysteries too. I’m big enough to admit that the mixed married couple DAMN sure intrigued me. Take those 3 elements and throw a preview like THIS…
The acting

GREAT job. I was NOT expecting such a great job. (Netflix can be REAL hit or miss on anything. 🤐) The stars were Zoe Kazan and Betty Gabriel. They wore those looks of confusion and agony. Zoe? Beast at playing the over-the-top “Karen”. Gabriel is so natural at the controlled, reserved role that I found myself wondering if she is ALWAYS that controlled, reserved. After those two, I truly was impressed with the entire cast because I would name the weakest link and can’t. There was none, zip, zero, zilch.
That PLOT tho! 👏🏾👏🏾
Oooooo! *covers his own mouth* Where do I start without snitching anything? How about this. Eight episodes is usually too much. USUALLY. It was well-orchestrated this series. I really liked how each episode was titled according to the character’s role. You didn’t get that title until well into the episode either and the title didn’t give away who anybody. It was really well-done.
