Happy Sunday FUN-day y’all!
3.) Sat outside – Anytime I sit outside, I’m celebrating. That vitamin D is a super bonus to staying healthy as possible AND we were outside early for the soccer game. Met a parent with a special needs child too. *rubs hands* This is an opportunity to grow and make a connection. 👑♿️
2.) My interview – I had an awesome interview with Jennifer G.! I’ve joined her FB Group because the interview went so well. THIS is an opportunity to grow another connection and slip into another community. 😉♿️
1.) Got my ALL my names back!!!! – Growing up, I couldn’t STAND my name. 🤦🏾♂️. Entering the world of entrepreneurship , I wanted my name associated with my virgin business. NONE of those lasted because my illness and disabilities choke-slammed any belief in my own shit. Hell, before entrepreneurship. I was doing OFF-shoots of my name because I was a middle school teacher and didn’t want kids or colleagues near my kind of fun.
Fast forward to now, my name is my shield and sword. I can defend myself with it yet slap the shit out of somebody with pure authenticity. I can motivate, inspire or entertain others with stories of my name, the exploits, lessons, wins. I needed my name back to legitimize my bounce back and come up. 🤜🏽🤛🏽💪🏽
