Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.
3.) New Grinders – This is about my health! I need these for grinding my wacky tobaccy. All weekend, I’ve struggled with smoking, churning the tobaccy throughout the process. It’s like I’m stuck in the 1800s or something. Wasting time and tobaccy. Now. I’m back to my efficient routine, relaxed.
2.) Refilled prescription – Tizanidine. 8 do NOT want to stay on this medication. It makes me sleep AF, falling out my wheelchair and stuff. I’m refilling because my PT is pushing me. According to him, on THREE occasions, my worst days of therapy coincide with me skipping the pills. *sigh* My NEW neurologist is recommending a baclofen pump is installed in my stomach. *sigh* I gotta admit too, I could use the help. The spasms are violent, consistent. The spasticity is disrupting mundane activity, falling out the bed, falling off toilet, unable to do exercises. Krogers pharmacy said Monday at first, then offered Saturday after 5pm. S/O to the Mrs. for retrieving it.
1.) Folded the clothes! – By myself. Biiiiig step because I’m quick to fall out my wheelchair as I reach for clothes. That pile of clean clothes was dragging me down. It was a reminder of chores, front and center. Heck, digging through it for clothes was so difficult, I would NOT risk a shower! That increased my bed sore pain because I wasn’t applying ointments. 🙄. Time to BE better.
