Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.
3.) My wife’s dress – I was impressed. Sincerely. Truly. It had me shooting my shot all day which kept the dark thoughts at bay. I made sure to tell her too. A tight dress with a high split? I thought she was going out with her crew but nope. Another reason I’m grateful. Wearing it around the house made ME feel like a star because I’m married to someone shaped like Betty Boop! I’m in a wheelchair and a star dressing for MY attention. She said it’s her leisure dress but that’s no fun. It’s her Betty Boop dress.
2.) Lunch date – Everytime we go into the CITY of Houston, we enjoy a lunch. She doesn’t need to wear that dress either. Actually, she can’t because she’s alone getting me in and the truck, moving the wheelchair, etc. Sushi is my favorite food so I’m aiming for a great lunch date, great service and positive thoughts.
1.) Ophthalmologist appointment – A three month wait just to see this specialist. I’m legally blind in one eye. The other sees blurry, sometimes double, sometimes both, gives pain. *deep breathe* I’m hoping for answers so wish me luck!
