Gratitude stories!
Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.

3.) Help getting on couch – S/O to my youngest daughter for getting me situated. It’s a battle transitioning from wheelchair to couch but she stuck it out. I needed the couch to lay on my stomach for pain relief. It did that but I was so uncomfortable. Then, leaving the couch was just as difficult. 🤷🏾♂️. In the future, I’ll be using the bed. I’m always blown away by her commitment to helping me do anything. This is an example of making someone feel wanted, needed, loved.

2.) Showered – Easy gratitude here. I’m well aware of the danger for falls. I do it I stink. I do it because my pressure spots require medication.

1.) Afford my medicines – It just last year that I didn’t do medicine. I take oxybutynin for control of my restroom needs. 👏🏾👏🏾. I scooped a pain reliever and vitamin D as well. I’m stocking up on medicine now because I anticipate bullshit with my health insurance and more employment stress.
