Gratitude stories!
Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.

3.) Ooops on the text message – I accidentally sent a flirtatious text to the wrong feed. My in-laws feed. With her parents. My wife fell out of embarrassment. I’m grateful they didn’t respond at all because I never thought it was THAT bad. If they did, the jokes would be vicious from friends, family and HER.

2.) Streaming (no wifi outages) – We have T-mobile for home internet. It gets so spotty that some work-from-home gigs won’t hire me unless I switch providers. That’s why when we have a solid weekend of connection, I’m grateful. I’m well aware of life without internet. I don’t want it.

1.) Groceries! – Cheeeeeesy, I know but very much true. The kids got excited bringing them in! π€£π€£. Seeing fresh grapefruits gave Monday an allure.
