Gratitude stories!

Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.


3.) Blast from the past! – Whoa. Sarah was my 8th grade student years ago. She remembered me AND bought 5 shots for my wife and I as anniversary gifts. What a good time. She taught us to use orange slices instead of lime slices too. It’s a better taste than limes. We promised to stay in touch. The whole experience was an affirmation of my teaching skills. It made me feel like I really did impact students.

2.) Strangers helping – I don’t think it was the shots but I fell a few times in the bar restroom. YUCK! S/O to the strangers for picking me off the floor. I’m still embarrassed.

1.) Our 18th Anniversary! – Yoo. I MUST get over yesterday. This is my motivation to do so.
