As a teacher, I used these stories to educate my students on the realities of this existence. I wanted them aware and prepared for the evil and injustice laying before their eyes. With category will exemplify those lessons as I share the work of myself and others for all to read.

This is the true history behind the calls for prison reform. Our country used abusive laws, peonage, to force Black Americans into slave-like conditions under the guise of law enforcement and prison sentences.
#BlackHistoryIsAmericanHistory: Battle of Bamber Ridge (June 24 – 25, 1943, WWII)
The story of Bamber Ridge, a battle, during WWII, that saw white American soldiers fighting Black American soldiers. It started because white American soldiers wanted to arrest Black American soldiers for drinking with white British soldiers.
We are protesting for CHANGE (rights,liberties,opportunities). You are protesting about change (loose dollars,profit,revenue).
Post that illustrates my explanation for looting, rioting, protesting when colonizers ask.
