Day #7 HOME with the kids for covid-19: Daddy’s Academy of Gratitude – Is it just MY kids talking too reckless? Too much sarcasm? Damn near disrespectful?
The plan to slow down how much sarcasm and disrespectful chatter amongst my offspring.
I advise others on the POSITIVE impact of keeping a Gratitude Journal. I make my kids write Gratitudes to reflect on their mistakes. This is one I’ll share. *winks*

Y’ALL. I am LOVING this online-homeschool stuff! Learning little things about the kids, ensuring they clean up, watching specific shows/movies in 45min segments, STRAIGHT playing around and goofing off! *sniff*

Aight. Kids are OFFICIALLY home till 4/10/20. I’m invoking my Father’s Right! (Shhhiiiiiiid, I just made some stuff up 😋) I AM taking this opportunity to really build a connection with my kids. I’m actually freaking stoked, had butterflies, nervous, everything. It went fantastic!! My HS senior (yup, I’m THAT old😮) was digging her career test stuff that ol’ DADDY created). We had a real recess (everybody hit the trampoline), real breakfast, real scheduled lunch, rotations, I learned some quips, worked their Gratitude assignment, I mean… *sniff* DAWG, *sucks teeth* WHATEVER… they (dem kids) liked it too.
