What and WHY I'm grateful today. I model this so others learn to put mindset OVER bullshit.

Gratitude stories!

Remember, the difference between being grateful and showing gratitude is the WHY story. As long as you are writing your story of why you’re grateful, you can’t overthink past decisions, wish for the “good, ol’ days”, wonder how much worse your health will or question if anyone else will leave.

3.) Repair not as high as I feared – OMG!! I was terrified of that plumbing repair. The toilet flooded the bathroom. There was so much water that it was noticed when it rounded a corner and headed for the kitchen. There was so much water that we used all bath towels, dried them and used them again. The problem was some device that senses a full toilet broke, stopped working, whatever. I got it fixed, like a Daddy is supposed to. I earned points from my damn self.

2.) Check deposited – Direct deposit has me spoiled. I used to get paid 2 days early. Every J-O-B, I was paid early. Then comes THIS current gig and that changed. Now, I’m paid anywhere from 28 hours early to paid on time. *smh* Still, receiving that deposit has a calming effect. I scooped pizza for dinner because it was Juneteenth and I had to do SOME-THING. Kids sure enjoyed it and earning a genuine thank you from them is a win. Those mugs are seriously UN-bothered by most efforts.

1.) Bidet installed – *pumps fist* It’s here. It works. I’m safer. I’m cleaner. Plus, I had a new porch light installed so the wife and 1st Adult could get in house easier. (I know. I’m a sweetie.)
