If you aren’t saving yourself, who are you waiting on? Hoping for? Praying about? Meditating on? 👑🤜🏾🤛🏾🖤
3.) BM! – Had my first real BM since our arrival! Ohhh the JOY, the RELIEF,🍾. The cramping and convulsing of my stomach has reached an all-time high. (Yeah. It’s baaad.) That BM helped quite a bit and solidified that lack of water is the issue. Heck, that’s a Win too. Knowing what the issue is and how to fix it. I’m gonna HAVE to stop8 ducking water and gon take those uncomfortable RR breaks while we’re out doing stuff.
2.) Spanish conversations – We were TRYING. He was TRYING. That was an interesting conversation. We were at the pool, kids, water guns, hanging out when another parent slid over to chop with us. Ordinarily, Google Translate to the rescue but at the pool, NO Wi-Fi at all. That means the three of us were thinking waaaay back to school days and helping each other get the messages across. The whole thing brought back SOME my lessons. I’m grateful for the talking because we GOTTA improve our language skills. That forced us to think hard, try alternatives, body language and everything we successfully communicated, stuck in the head. Good lesson and experience because we did that for at least 10-15min!
1.) Chime Bank – I really, REALLY like my Chime Bank. It’s so easy to use AND when you’re international, struggling with suspicious activity, you need a bank trying to help. Chime wasn’t trying to help 🙄😑 BUT the basic functions saved us. We got some physical checks uploaded to our account and that pretty cleared all the rest of our “activity”. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 On top of that, Chime has reached out to us (the other THREE did nothing!). Even before that, one my brothers has Chime. He was kicking us money and Chime’s basic functions gave us access to that. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Grateful because I can’t lie, before THIS trip, I was considering moving stuff to one of the bigger, established banks but DAMN that now. I’m Chime committed. Now, if my freaking employer would release my CHECKS, we’d be even better.
